Digital Forensics

Q-CERT offers digital forensic services based on its investigative capabilities.

Scope of services includes investigating live incidents, post-incident investigation and analysis, crimes related to information infrastructure.

Q-CERT can assist you with parallel forensics examination and analysis that can support up to 100 sessions simultaneously.

We also provide assistance to investigate networks, mobile crimes, reconstructing sessions and recovering passwords.

Incident Response

Q-CERT’s Incident Response Service provides the capability to address and respond to security incidents that may occur as a result of using technology.

If an information security incident occurs in Qatar, anybody can approach Q-CERT to take advantage of its expertise in handling such incidents and minimize any damage that may result from the incident.

Q-CERT has a formal, focused, and coordinated approach to respond to information security incidents and can provide organizations with a roadmap to build an effective incident response capability.

Public Report Incident

If you noticed any weird behavior on your computer or network that may indicate you a subjected to cyber attack, you should immediately report it to Q-CERT Call Center and it will be forwarded to Q-CERT if needed.

Q-CERT Malware Lab

The Objective of Q-CERT Malware Lab (Q-LAB) is to build the capability to measure, analysis, and protect from malware threat on National Level. This service is available for Government and Semi-Government IT professional to submit any suspicious files for analysis purpose and the user will receive a comprehensive report for the submitted file.

Q-CERT Public Incident

Q-CERT as National CERT in Qatar expended their core service to public by introducing a new service called "Q-CERT Public Incident Handling [PIH]". The aim for this service was to expand incident response service from Corporate only to Public and to provide enough support related to Cyber Threats.

Q-CERT IREC Extranet

Cyber Security Division has initiated 2 Industry/Sector Related Expert Committees (IRECs), which are essentially groups focused on governance of critical information infrastructure protection (CIIP) per sector. The Energy-IREC and Finance-IREC.
