Google Chrome Zero-Day Vulnerability Exploited in the Wild

Four high severity vulnerabilities in Google Chrome has been discovered and we are aware that one with (CVE-2021-30554) exploit exist in the wild. It is suggested to apply the recommendations below in order to prevent security incidents from happening.

 

The exploited vulnerability is in WebGL (JavaScript API rendering 2D/3D graphics in the browser) and has been tracked as CVE-2021-30554. Exploitation can lead to arbitrary code execution or corruption of valid data. 

 

It affects Google Chrome for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Recommendation: 

It is recommended to update Google Chrome to version 91.0.4472.114 as soon as possible to prevent vulnerability exploitation.
